What we do

Having personally experienced the devastating loss of a loved one due to preventable burn injuries, we are determined to channel our pain and grief into a cause filled with purpose and hope. At JLF, our mission is to advocate for burn victims and support families facing similar hardships. We are committed to promoting fire safety and burn awareness to help prevent further tragedies and to advancing research in burn treatment, ensuring those affected receive the highest quality care and outcomes. Above all, we aim to honor Julian’s legacy by instilling strength and bravery in the lives of others.

Through community education, fire safety initiatives, and burn awareness events, we strive to reduce the occurrence of preventable burn injuries and mitigate the harmful effects of fires. Our fundraising efforts and donations aim to support burn victims and alleviate the financial strain on affected families. Additionally, we collect toy donations to create gift boxes for local children’s hospitals and burn units, offering comfort, joy, strength and encouragement to children enduring burn injuries.

Having personally experienced the challenges and emotional toll of a hospital stay with a loved one, we deeply understand the impact it can have. We are incredibly grateful for the support our community provided during this time, and we now aim to offer that same level of care, compassion, and strength to other families facing similar hardships. Our goal is to provide food, drinks, and essential supply bags to those spending extended periods in the hospital with a loved one in critical care or hospice, offering some comfort during their difficult journey.

Your support, whether through donations or involvement, is invaluable to our cause. We are deeply grateful for your help in making a difference, and we know Julian would be incredibly proud of what we are working to achieve together.
